Rhodamine B hypochlorous acid probe, R6G hypochlorous acid probe has high selectivity and sensitivity to ClO- ions. When the water sample contains ClO- ions, R6G hypochlorous acid ion probe reacts with ClO- ions, undergoes ring-opening hydrolysis reaction, and generates product 2, which emits emission light under excitation light. The fluorescence intensity is proportional to the product, so the detected fluorescence intensity can be used to detect the content of ClO- ions in the water sample. Moreover, biological imaging shows that the probe can detect ClO- ions in cells.
